Effective Date: March 2026
When you log in via Spotify, we collect your Spotify User ID, Display Name, and Profile Avatar. We do NOT have access to your Spotify password.
While active, we read your currently playing track to broadcast it on our public feed.
We request your location solely to assign you to a general "Zone" (e.g., your city). We do NOT store your precise GPS coordinates or track your continuous movement.
We use Vercel Web Analytics (which is privacy-friendly and cookie-less) to understand general traffic and interactions (like clicks and page views).
We use your data strictly to operate the DJROND real-time music discovery platform. Your current track, display name, and avatar are displayed publicly on "The Pulse" feed only while you are actively broadcasting.
Your live playback data is ephemeral. The moment you stop broadcasting or pause your music, your active session is deleted from our database. Your profile data and basic interaction metrics (like "Vibe Score" and total clicks) are retained to maintain your account but can be deleted upon request.
We utilize the official Spotify API for authentication and playback status. Our application is hosted on Vercel, and our database is powered by Supabase.
